At some point I feel I should suppress my emotions, empty my mind and allow unbiased reasoning to guide my reflections on some of the most discussed issues in Enugwu-Agidi.
1. APPOINTMENT OF EBUKA EBUKA ONUORAH AS THE CARETAKER COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN OF ENUGWU-AGIDI BROTHERLY UNION (EBU).
A. Sincerely speaking, even though I decided to stay off politics for some personal reasons my sympathy and support was for APGA and her candidate Prof. Chukwuma Soludo. One may recall that I wrote about this on different platforms even before the election.
I support whatever winning strategy champions of his election may have deployed but trading with the integrity of Enugwu-Agidi and undermining her leadership institution is too grievous to contemplate especially in the way and manner it was done.
B. It shouldn’t have been David Ebuka Onuorah, because no sane person with the knowledge of his activities in Enugwu-Agidi these past three (3) years should consider him worthy of that elevated position.
- He mobbed the government appointment chairman in the same position
- He was suspended from the Union
- He was suspended from Etiti, his Village and the matter is in a competent court of Law
- He mobbed his Village Chairman Ozo John Aguiyi, at a peace meeting conveyed by the respected Chairman of Enugwu-Agidi Peace and reconciliation committee
- He is an alleged super land grabber
- He does not have any known job yet he lives large
- He has connections with kidnappers as it’s in public domain that he pays ransom to kidnappers on behalf of kidnap victims’ families
- He can not read and can not write. How can he represent Enugwu-Agidi on serious issues?
2. THE DEATH OF ANAYO NWORAH.
Late. Anayo Nworah (Aged 28) and father of four (4) kids was allegedly beaten to death by Ebuka Onuorah’s task force team lead by Ebuka Anuta.
Recall the activities of Ebuka Anuta, during the invasion of Enugwu-Agidi by cultists that beat up so many people in Enugwu-Agidi and how they invaded the Palace of Okpalariam iii Enugwu-Agidi and even threw sand at His Highness right inside his Palace earlier this year. We also saw in a viral video how the same Ebuka Anuta molested one Chuka Ebo (Poko). I am yet to confirm if that guy died a few weeks later or if he is still alive.
My question is, what does Ebuka Onuorah, intend to achieve by appointing a character as horrible as Ebuka Anuta, to handle any position in Enugwu-Agidi?
His mission is obvious. So, Ebuka Onuorah should not express any surprise when Late Anayo was killed. He rather took some smart steps to cover up the atrocity.
First, he quickly took the remains of Late Anayo Nworah to an unknown destination while lobbying for a soft landing from behind. He even promised to offer money, build a house and so on for the deceased family.
Unfortunately, things are taking different shapes and more will come by God’s grace because justice must be served.
3. SOME BIG MEN OFFERED MONEY AND PROMISED SUPPORT ON HIS APPOINTMENT.
I have been worried as I continue to think over the motivation for that. I realised we have two categories of people who offered him money and sundry promises.
A. The first category are the people who are still not attune with the coronation of Igwe M.C Okekeuche as Okpalariam iii Enugwu-Agidi. To them Ebuka Onuorah is the most potent weapon to use in fighting his Highness.
I heard from a very reliable source that the Chief opposition from Iruobieli Village has started buying Igweship regalia. The plan is to make Ebuka Onuorah an elected EBU President General and within a very short period the process of dethronement will start.
Serious cash exchanged hands here and will continue till 27th and 28th December 2021, when they intend to perfect their evil plans.
B. The second category are people who are under serious threat. These were informed that they would burn their houses or kidnap their parents in the village.
Ndi ujo ji aka. My question is how long and how many times do you need to pay Ebuka Onuorah so that they will not burn your house? It’s a shame!
I don’t care if he will kill me as he threatened but the important thing is that the truth is told. You may take my recent writings as my last words on earth. I have no regrets even if I die.
Enugwu-Agidi must defend her integrity.
Thanks.
