Dec 9th 2021, Another Unresolved Death of Enugwu-Agidi Youth…

Another Precious Life of Enugwu-Agidi Son DIES in Suspicious Circumstances and Quickly Buried in Enugwu-Agidi…

The last suspicious youthful death in Enugwu-Agidi was on Thursday November 11th, 2021 and he is said to be about 28 years of age.

The current Suspicious youthful death in Enugwu-Agidi was on Thursday December 9th, 2021 and he is said to be about 33 years of age.

Are there links to the record of violent physical assaults, midnight attacks and unresolved deaths of young men occurring in Enugwu-Agidi recently with the prevalent issues of Communal Lands Banditry?

This time, in a written and widely distributed publication by the Town Union Caretaker Committee, the victim is said to have died of suicide by hanging and the claimer(s) claim the victim died from “Addiction And Abuse of Methamphetamine Drugs”.

Was an autopsy carried out on the victim by a medically certified professional to confirm that cause of death was suicide by hanging as as result of addiction qnd or abuse from METHAMPHETAMINE DRUGS?

How come news reports, suggest that the victim has since been buried? Were traditional and cultural procedures followed in burying a person claimed to have died from suicide by hanging (Ikpu Alu)?

Were first things done first, rather the cart is set before the horse, instead of the horse being set before the cart?

This article will ask some pertinent Open Ended Questions example and allow readers to make informed answers;

Is there more to this, than meets the eyes?

Did the victim really die from suicide by hanging?

Was the victim already dead before being hanged as cover-up?

What is Methamphetamine?

As defined by Wikipedia; Methamphetamine (contracted from Alpha-Methylphenethylamine) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant that is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), narcolepsy, and obesity.

Some western research has stated that drug abuses may lead to suicide, though those research never mentioned suicide by hanging, especially when there is no such occurances of suicide by hanging in Anambra State and in Nigeria by abusers of methamphetamine drugs.

Basic preliminary investigations established that zero autopsy was carried out by a licensed medical autopsy professional to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased, yet a widely spread publication was written and distributed by Town Union Executives to insinuate the victim died from suicide through hanging as a result of addiction and or abuse of METHAMPHETAMINE DRUGS…

The following questions becomes even more pertinent;

  1. How many cases have you ever read/heard that methamphetamine abusers committed suicide by hanging in Anambra or in Nigeria?
  2. Did the victim in the past, ever showed suicide tendencies?
  3. Is there more to this death or is there a plot to cover the real cause of death?

Empirical local research, has shown that those who published claims to know the cause of death have neither the professional, academic, practise competence nor the capacity to understand the cause of death was as a result of addiction and abuse of Methamphetamine drugs.

Yet, they are continuously and forcefully making Enugwu-Agidi and the general public believe they know for sure that the cause of death was due to Addiction and abuse of Methamphetamine DRUGS.. .

In conclusion:

Ozoemena… Let there be no more such occurrences.

However, the sheer guts to categorically confirm the cause of death of the victim could be a warning sign that this set of current executives that was legally and or illegally imposed on Ndi Enugwu-Agidi at a time when there was an Anambra State Government Policy not to change Town Union Executives within months to Governorship Elections.

These Enugwu-Agidi Town Union Executives, were legally or illegally appointed about one (1) week to the November 6th, 2021 Anambra State Gubernatorial Elections.

What more would Ndi Enugwu-Agidi expect or believe that these people meant well or have what it takes to do well for our dear community in the face of two-many unresolved deaths of Enugwu-Agidi youths on Enugwu-Agidi soil?

It would be great if the majority of Ndi Enugwu-Agidi could hold their right hands to your right heart and believe these legally and or illegally appointed Town Inion Caretaker Committee will give Ndi Enugwu-Agidi a fair, transparent, credible election on 29th December 2021.

Would they attempt to use every legal and every illegal way and means to forcefully see themselves elected as Enugwu-Agidi Town Union Executives, especially when such was previously attempted in 2019 by some…

Again and Again, another unresolved death like so many unresolved violent physical attacks and an unresolved November 11th 2021 death. While justice seems to be delayed, will justice be denied?

SITUATIONAL SIMILARITIES OF TWO NIGERIANS RECENTLY BATTERED TO DEATH:

-The unresolved case of Enugwu-Agidi Son Battered to Death Versus The unresolved case of Dowen College Student Battered to Death-

1.

The two (2) were young males aged 28 years and 12 years, both were beaten and battered to death and both incidents happened in November 2021.

2.

The two (2) were battered, beaten and subjected to Grievous Bodily Harm GBH before their untimely deaths.

3.

The two were disgraced, dehumanised, abused mentally and physically before their deaths.

4.

The two (2) victims begged for their lives but the suspects showed no mercy and continued the bartering leading to their deaths.

5.

Both of them had Igbo names; the Enugwu-Agidi son was called ANAYO, while the Dowen College student was called CHIDALU.

6.

Their suspected killers and or those suspected to have beaten and battered them leading to their deaths, are ON THE RUN, hoping their crimes will be hidden and forgotten for them to return to commit more criminality.

7.

The suspected killers are said to be protected and covered by some community stakeholders, for example; some Enugwu Agidi community stakeholders and some Dowen College community stakeholders.

8.

Both victims did not die at the crime scenes, rather they died afterwards, however as a result of fatal injuries sustained during the inhuman beating attacks.

9.

Both victims gave some information about the incident to their loved ones before they died.

10.

The suspects have shown evidence of culpability, the reason they have not reported to Police Stations, as they are on the run with the protection of their sympathisers, families and or sponsors.

11.

In the eyes of the LAW and the Nigerian constitution, the two (2) victims were innocent of any offence or crime but died in the hands of those that believe they have the power to decide who lives or who dies.

12.

Nigerian Law ought to take its course and be seen to protect lives, to deny individual(s) and group(s) from taking laws into their hands or think they are above the Law in Enugwu-Agidi, Anambra State or in Dowen College, Lagos State.

Cry Anambra Cry:

The Evolving APC and APGA Wars on Anambra State International Cargo Airport, Commissioning and Commencement of Operations…

As two Political Parties contesting for the upcoming Anambra State 2021 Governorship Elections engage in dirty-public-dance with regards to Anambra State International Cargo Airport, commissioning and commencement of operations.

The above can easily relate to the ancient adage; that when two (2) elephants fight, the grass suffers.

While APGA and APC are fighting to flex their muscles and waste funds and time, Ndi Anambra are immensely suffering economically, socially, morally especially in the face of poor safety, very dire insecurity and very poor roads.

Yet, come Nov 6th, 2021 Ndi Anambra will have the powers, the authority and the civic rights to choose the next Governor of Anambra State and the next Political Party to govern, direct and champion the welfare, safety and security of lives and properties of Ndi Anambra State.

Ndi Anambra are watching with interest as Nov 6th 2021 approaches…

Did APGA fail by allegedly turning the commissioning and commencement of operations of Anambra International Cargo Airport into unneeded and unnecessary politics of doom?

Did APC fail by allegedly using federal might to delay, disrupt and or stop Anambra State International Cargo Airport commissioning and commencement of operations into doomsday politics?

All in all Ndi Anambra are watching and taking notes as we approach Nov 6th, 2021 Anambra State Governorship Elections.

It will be pertinent to remember, Anambra State funds only were used in designing and developing the Anambra International Cargo Airport.

Those that will benefit will be Ndi Anambra State and every other also.

Asaba Airport is attracting business and investments, due to the lack of Anambra Airport.

Owerri Airport is creating employability and employment, due to the lack of Anambra Airport.

Enugu Airport is making billions and winning hearts, due to the lack of Anambra Airport.

Who can run a stress analysis and correlate the financial cost and the inconveniences Ndi Anambra State experience, while travelling via Air or Land, in and out of Anambra State in relation to the physical and health burdens to Anambra social capitalization and Anambra investment maximisation?

Bearing all the above in mind, who and who in his or her right senses would use Anambra International Cargo Airport for politics of doom? When there was all the time in the world to commission and commence operations, especially after so many commissioning dates were established and squashed?

Who, who and who in their right minds will use the so-called Federal Might, to scuttle the commissioning and commencement of operations of Anambra International Cargo Airport because of his or their selfish doomsday politics?

Many schools of thought would argue rightly that (APGA) HE Gov Obiano did wonderfully well to design and develop Anambra State International Cargo Airport.

Though some other schools of thought could argue that APGA and HE Gov Obiano, have questions to answer on why the delayed commissioning and commencement of operations,  especially in relation to political campaigns and the many established commissioning dates and abolished dates?

In International Finance and Global Security, there is a term called Near-Misses that is well known to Financial gurus and Security experts; How much financial income was missed by the delayed commissioning and commencement of operations?

How much social mileage did Anambra State missed via the International Cargo Airport that could have generated a new source of IGR internationally Generated Revenue, if it had commenced operations earlier this year?

Free thinkers would ask; was the delayed commissioning and commencement of operations purely based on APGA quest to use Anambra International Cargo Airport for political campaigns?

Ndi Anambra would ask; is it true that while President Buhari and Presidential Security Adviser are both in Saudi Arabia, those close to the corridors of power in APC are using their connections negatively against Ndi Anambra State?

Very few schools of thought sighted “Security Threats” as a major reason for the disrupted commissioning and commencement of operations of Anambra State International Cargo Airport.

What Security threat does the commissioning and commencement of operations of Anambra International Cargo Airport pose more than the more significant insecurity threats on functional airports in NorthEast Nigeria, NorthWest Nigeria and NorthCentral Nigeria just to mention a few?

Ndi Anambra are wise, smart and very sensitive to the current saga in NOT only the commissioning of Anambra State International Cargo Airport but also in the immediate commencement of operations.

Commencement of operations does not mean commence operations today and shut down operations tomorrow with flimsy excuses. Commencement of operations means continuous arrivals and departures of flights in and out of Anambra International Cargo Airport.

Anambra State is the home of many investors in the Airline Industry. How would these investors feel as they serve other states and nations but their own native state and native nation lacks a functional Airport.

Ndi Anambra can change all these and save themselves from all these at the November 6th, 2021 Anambra State Governorship Elections.

It’s in Ndi Anambra hands.

Odi Ndi Anambra na Aka…

Killing Of Christians And Burning Of Their Churches In Nigeria Have Gone Beyond Int’l Rebuttal… Thursday, 26th August 2021

By: International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law

…as attested to by a recent letter to UK Minister for Africa by UK Lawmakers and world religious leaders

The massacre of Christians and their abduction and forceful conversion to radical Islamism; and burning or destruction of their sacred places of worship and learning or churches and schools in Nigeria have long gone beyond int’l rebuttal, news blockage or censorship, media ‘tipping’ and diplomatic ‘lobbying’ using borrowed funds by the sitting central Government of Nigeria. It is also not enough to label grounded and irrefutable statistical reports on the massacres that are still going on at maddening rate across the country as ‘fake news’ or ‘handiwork of detractors’. The individual and corporate characters of the person (Minister Lai Mohammed) and his Ministry of Information internationally meeting the western media and attempting to refute the indefensible and undeniable massacre of Christians in the country are also long settled as lacking in integrity, credibility, reputation and outside the confines of the realities on the grounds.

As a matter of fact, Minister Lai Mohamed’s trip to US and possibly other western world in coming weeks is not only internationally fruitless, but also misdirected or mis-channeled. The outcome of the trip would have been openly celebrated with AK-47s if made in the palace of the new Sultanate of Afghanistan or that of Saudi Arabia; or that of Iran if controlled by the radical Sunnis. In all this, our greatest worry concerning the trip is that such trips have in the past ended up emboldening the jihadists and encouraging them to massacre and burn more Christians and churches unchecked. In other words, Minister Lai Mohammed’s trip and celebration of same to the effect that: “my US trip was useful and able to debunk fake news on persecution of Christians in Nigeria” is tantamount to issuance of fresh license to the jihadists particularly the Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen to further go on rampage and massacre more defenseless Christians and burn or destroy their churches at will and unchecked.

Mercantilism In The House Of Christ Aiding Massacre Of Christians In Nigeria: The major reason why thousands of Christians and their churches have continued to be massacred or burned or destroyed on yearly basis in Nigeria is because the country’s Christendom has been taken over by mercantilists or merchants in the House of Christ. This is to the extent that today in Northern Nigeria, its estimated 30m Christians have been terrified, over ten million uprooted, six million forced to flee, and four million ended up as IDPs. Included also are over 30,000 direct deaths out of over 43,000 total Christian deaths, hundreds of thousands of indirect deaths and tens of thousands of permanently disappeared persons. The anti Christian butcheries in Nigeria also accounted for 90% of over 17,500 destroyed or burnt churches and 2000 Christian schools in the North. The archdioceses or dioceses of the Catholic and the Anglican churches and the provinces of the likes of EYN and ECWA churches in the Christian held areas of Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Niger, Kaduna, Plateau, Nasarawa, East Kogi, Kebbi and Benue States are speedily becoming deserted, abandoned, emptied and Islamized-with their present Church leaders as “Archbishops, Bishops and Provincial Heads of empty cathedrals and provincial headquarters”.

Americans And Europeans Have More And Superior Information Than Lai Mohammed Can Give

Minister Lai Mohammed’s international media trip and engagements in USA are nothing more than ‘Government organized and sponsored’; sanctioned by their international hosts for purpose of upholding the grand principle of fair hearing or ‘hear the other side’ and fulfillment of ‘all righteousness’. Therefore, the Americans and Europeans are historically known to be the providers of credible data or information to Nigeria and do not and can never rely on Nigerian Government information-a country without a functional database and corporately serial liar in the present circumstances. That is to say that with respect to massacre of Christians and related others; the two surest sources of credible information available and grounded in statistical substance are local and international research or investigative findings by credible local and international media, rights and research bodies and victims’ groups; and reports or findings by western democratic Governments and Intergovernmental Organizations.

Esprit De Jihad: Like Afghanistan, Like Nigeria: The present Nigerian Government lacks international moral bearing to extricate itself locally and internationally from strong accusation of being jihad aiding and scripting the operational code of ‘esprit de jihad’ in its security forces’ commands and controls. This was exactly the same reason why the Government of Afghanistan and its 400,000-security forces collapsed and fell to Taliban jihadists. Apart from the present Government of Nigeria being ‘Islamist in structure and composition’-in a country of roughly 50-50 Christians and Muslims; there also exists a scripted operational code of ‘esprit de jihad’ or brothers-at-jihad within its security forces-which have fueled the massacres and destruction of sacred, commercial and customary properties belonging to Christians. Under the same Government, African jihadists are leaving Libya and Sudan in droves to Nigeria as their new ‘safe heaven’ and ‘African Capital of Jihadism’. They also freely move within and outside the country’s corridors of power including the Fulani Jihadists who are now in control of state power and public resources in Nigeria.

The Fulani/Northern Nigeria Muslim dominated and controlled central Government of Nigeria is also tribally and religiously hateful and intolerant in policies, actions and conducts especially against Christians of Eastern Nigeria dominated by Igbo Ethnic Nationality. For instance, if it was in the Igbo’s East that NDA is located and came under Jihadist Fulani Bandits’ recent attack, the hell would have been let loose on innocent Igbo populations, their cities and properties. While both Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen and Jihadist Fulani Bandits were busy massacring Christians in Plateau (over 190 Christian deaths since 30th July 2021), Southern Kaduna (hundreds of deaths) and Benue (hundreds of deaths) and attacking military formations and killing scores of officers, the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Usman Alkali Baba was busy issuing genocidal threats against innocent Igbo population disguising same as “IPOB/ESN” threats of ‘no election in Anambra’. Even when ‘IPOB’ had issued a statement ‘suspending the weekly Monday sit-at-home’, the IGP was still issuing threats and ordering his personnel to frame, arrest, kill, torture, disappear or hold the arrested innocent citizens indefinitely without trial. The IGP’s hate policing was also the case when despite the outcries that followed the arrest, inhuman and unlawful detention of a 22-year old Miss Okolie, the IGP still turned around and falsely labeled her as “using her phone line to fund ESN/IPOB terrorism”.

Thanking Prominent UK Lawmakers And Key Global Religious Leaders: The international letter addressed to UK Minister for Africa, James Duddridge, MP, by prominent UK Lawmakers and key global religious leaders and activists on “unending religious violence (killing of Christians and some moderate Muslims) in Nigeria-a key ally of UK” has not only rubbished Minister Lai Mohammed’s recent futile and wasteful international media trip to US and possibly others in coming weeks, but also strikingly gladdened our heart. That is to say that Intersociety is happy and thankful to the respected signatories to the letter. The strategic international letter of religious concerns was delivered to the UK Minister on 16th August 2021 and sought among others the UK Government’s acknowledgement of the scale of ethno-religious violence in Nigeria and strongly urge the Nigerian Government to: Hold those responsible to account; Ensure that security and stability are provided for all communities in the north and Middle Belt, as well as the Yoruba and Igbo people in the south west and south east, together with the help and protection they urgently need.

The special Letter had The Baroness Caroline Cox of Queensbury; a long serving member of the UK House of Lords, an internationally respected personality and Founder and President, Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART) as the chief convener and was co-signed by Jim Shannon MP, Chair, APPG for International Freedom of Religion or Belief, The Lord David Alton of Liverpool , Dr. Lisa Cameron MP, Lord Carey of Clifton, Former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Lisa Cameron MP, Lord Carey of Clifton, Former Archbishop of Canterbury, His Grace the Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba, Primate of All Nigerian Anglican Communion and Bishop Metropolitan, The Most Rev. The Challenges and The Realities:

Challenges of Media and Realities of Government. BY: Vince Onyekwelu

The media, journalists and social influencers should not be tagged as using tribal and or ethnic nuances without addressing and untagging the seemingly tribal and or ethnic intentional, programmed and structural biases in regional/religious recruitment, promotion, posting, retirement and leadership in governance, government and especially amongst security agencies personnel.

It is possible that the media, journalists and social influencers are humanly and or naturally responding to the stubbornly, formed, creative-narratives that only a specific tribe and or ethnicity “region/religion”, in Nigeria has the academic sagacity to manage the leadership of security agencies and security infrastructures of Nigeria, when we have the academic statistics of all Nigerians as a guide to academic prowess in the past decades etc.

Idiomatically, when parents with poor parenting etiquette choose the cain, as their only tool to correct children, such parents shoud enjoy the cries of the children as their only tool to protest their innocence.

On one hand, as much as better training will be helpful and needful to suppprt improvements in journalists use of languages, on the other hand those in the corridors of power need to open the security infrastructure leadership space to all Nigerains using Equality, Equity and Justice, rather than using, Inequality, Iniquity and Injustice.

After all, an African proverb stated that “he who intentionally brings home ant-infested firewoods, should not question the gods, why lizards frequently pay him visits”.

Why I doff my hat for Igbo – Resilient Igbo. BY Ena Ofugara

Resilient Igbo.
BY Ena Ofugara

I am not Igbo.

I am proud of my urhobo. However, as a student of history, I wish to show just what these great people come against and yet thrive. Okay, the incessant killings in the North will be glossed over so as to make this article not overly long. The civil war will also not be discussed. However, post civil war, as I explained in my post MINORITY REPORT: THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED AGAINST YOU, the rich in Nigeria have major roots in the Indigenisation decree of 1972 and 1977. I reminded people how the banks gave people of other tribes, predominantly Hausas and Yorubas loans to buy up companies owned by foreigners. Now imagine the Federal government forced Chevron to sell 51 percent of its shares and that Access Bank will give you loans to buy the shares. How rich will you be in a year? 5 Years? That is how many Yorubas and Hausas got to own UAC, all those Dunlop, Leventis, Cadbury etc.

Now, while this was ongoing, Awolowo/Gowon told the Nigerian banks to give twenty naira to any Igbo man that had money in the bank before the war. That is, if you had 5 naira before the war, you will be given the 5 naira. But if you had one million naira, you get just twenty naira in full fulfilment of the banks duty to give you your money.

Ask yourselves, why would the banks give Igbos only twenty naira? Did the banks collapse? So why pay less than you were given? So while the banks were giving loans to Hausa and Yorubas to buy Oyibo companies they did not build, Igbos were being cheated out of their rightful moneys.

Now note also that these people lost Houses and business across the land. It is safe to say that as at 1970/71, the richest Igbo had 20 naira that may be the equivalent of maybe one million naira.

Let us look at how Dangote made his money. He Dagote (a great man and pride to Nigeria) had an uncle called Dantata who owned huge chunks of the groundnut pyramids of the 50’s and 60’s. He gave Dangote a loan and Dangote paid it back in a record time. CLAP, CLAP. Then add that Dangote has had his “brothers” in government, from Shagari, Buhari, IBB, Abacha, Abdulsalami to Yar’Adua. When they now agreed to democracy, he was rich enough to have funded Obasanjo and so government policies, be it monopoly afforded him for rice, sugar flour and of course a large share of subsidy etc ensures he is the wealthiest Nigerian. Note that many had same opportunity, but did not use it. We kowtow to Dangote’s investment capabilities.

However, for the Igbo man, where will he see an uncle that will loan him money? The richest man in their family has how much as at then? So while Fani Kayode can inherit property of his father and grandfather and great grand father, a Chidi Kalu cannot inherit anything from his grandfather who had business in Kano or even Port Harcourt. Neighbours have made his dad’s storey building theirs, and even someone as educated as Ken Saro-Wiwa lived in an Igbo war emigrant house as his. (A sore point of the Niger Delta and Igbo Unity). WAEC building was Ojukwu’s dad’s building and like that building, thousands and the lands with it….lands worth billions today were taken from Igbos and each and every Igbo had tops 20 naira, destroyed homeland, stolen and destroyed wealth away from the East. Also his brother is never president that will give him oil block or fuel lifting. Of 33, only one Igbo man and because he was in Obasanjo’s good graces.

YET LOOK HOW PROUD THEY STAND TODAY!!! Look what they have achieved for themselves….FIRST GENERATION WEALTH…top second generation. From being unable to send their first sons to school so he could help look after the shop, to producing first class brains in all departments of modern learning.

So today, as you accuse Igbos of wanting their Biafra or of Baby Factory, or liking money and ready to do anything for money, remember that just forty years ago, while the banks were dashing your uncles loans to buy all the companies of Nigeria, it stole from the Igbos. Know that appointments have not favoured them. Note that they remain persecuted and many speak such ill and hate towards a people forced by need to survive to be extra-aggressive towards their sustenance. Maybe if you took their history into consideration, you will not be so critical of them, but instead say “what a resilient people” and give God the glory.

Anambra State 2021 Governorship Election

DR. OBIORA OKONKWO REJOINS RACE AS ZLP CANDIDATE.

Chairman of the United Nigeria Airlines, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, has rejoined the Anambra State governorship race, with Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) substituting its candidate with his name.
The substitution of candidate was completed on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The submission of Okonkwo’s name followed his earlier resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in protest over the outcome of an illegitimate primary election where the party abandoned its constitution and used an illegal process to pick its governorship candidate. Already the PDP is contending with an avalanche of court cases ahead November 6 election.
Also submitted to INEC was the name of Dame (Barr.) Jessie Balonwu, a former member of the House of Representatives and also a former State Women Leader of the PDP, as running-mate to Dr. Okonkwo.
Dame Balonwu, who is from Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency of Anambra North Senatorial District, was also the first Igbo female senator-elect and Commissioner for education in Anambra state. She also served the state meritoriously as Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB between 2005 and 2007.
Dr. Okonkwo’s movement to ZLP followed a groundswell of pressure from political and community leaders, opinion moulders, stakeholders, support groups and institutional advocates for the good governance of Anambra State.
The pressure had led to the formation of the Save Anambra Coalition which is an amalgam of advocates of good governance from all the senatorial zones of the state and cut across all political parties and established institutions and faith-based organizations in the state.
The Save Anambra Coalition also consists of former aspirants to the governorship of the state from the different political parties who are not satisfied with the lack of internal democracy and direction of the parties and are also disturbed by the absence of purposeful leadership of the state by the ruling party.
These political leaders are unhappy with the direction Anambra’s development had taken in the past years under the supervision of Mr. Willie Obiano and feel that he must not be rewarded with the luxury of picking a successor for the state. These political leaders and influencers are therefore united in their decision to support Dr. Okonkwo as a consensus candidate because of his level of integrity, focus, drive and blueprint for the good governance and development of Anambra State.
Further pressure on Dr. Okonkwo to re-enter the governorship race came from the Rescue Anambra Coalition, which is a coalition of market groups, trade unions, professional organizations, transport organizations and grassroots mobilization groups across the state, which had at a recent press conference in Onitsha, urged Dr. Okonkwo to make the move.
Also, statutory delegates of the PDP, including all elected members of the executive in the 21 local government areas and 326 wards of the state, had called on Dr. Okonkwo to re-enter the guber race vowing to go with him wherever he goes.
Leadership of ZLP will formally unveil Dr. Okonkwo and Dame Balonwu to the good people of Anambra in the next few days.
Dr. Obiora Okonkwo holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Political Science (with distinction), from the Russian Academy of Science, Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Moscow; a Professional Fellowship Doctorate, from the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria; and Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and Mediators of Nigeria. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Economics, also, with distinction, from the Russian Peoples Friendship University, Moscow, and a First Class in Economics from the Russian Peoples Friendship University, also, in Moscow.
He had his early education in Onitsha, Anambra State, where he combined trading at the Main Market and managing a horde of apprentices, with schooling.
High Chief Okonkwo, who is married with children, is a bridge-builder across all zones and of Anambra State and Nigeria.
Dame (Barrister) Jessie Uka Balonwu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria (1982-1986), and having attended Lagos Law School (1986-1987), she was called to the Bar in 1987. Dame Balonwu attended Anglican Girls Secondary School Oba where she obtained West African School Certificate in 1971. She was a Legal Practitioner in P.O Balonwu Chambers

JUST IN: Police Service Commission approves IGP recommendation, suspends Kyari

August 1, 2021016

Nigeria Police Service Commission has approved the recommendation of a disciplinary panel of the Nigeria Police to suspend embattled chairman of Inspector General of Police Intelligence Team, DCP Abba Kyari

Following recommendation of the Inspector-General of Police, the Police Service Commission(PSC) has suspended a Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari over his alleged involvement in a $1.1 million loot by internet fraudster Husspuppi.

Kyari, who is Head, Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigeria Police Force, was suspended in a statement by Head Press and Public Relations of PSC, Ikechukwu Ani.

It said his suspension took effect from Saturday, July 31 and subsists pending the outcome of the investigation in respect of his indictment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States.

The Commission also directed the IGP to furnish it with information on further development on the matter for necessary further action.

“The Commission’s decision which was conveyed in a letter with reference, PSC/POL/D/153/vol/V/138 to the Inspector General of Police today, Sunday, August 1, was signed by Justice Clara Bata Ogunbiyi, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court and PSC Commissioner 1 and the Commission’s Chairman, Alhaji Musiliu Smith, a retired IGP, who is currently on leave,” Ani said.

Call For Global Connect and Foreign Inclusivity…

29th July, 2021.

Dear Kola Ologbondiyan,

PDP National Publicity Secretary.

RE: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Demands Full Investigation of DCP Abba Kyrie, the head of IGP Intelligence Response Team.

Thank you for using your good office to write the letter dated July 29th 2021, on the above mentioned subject matter, which is a step in the right direction.

As a Nigerian journalist and a former British Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police Service in the United Kingdom, may I suggest that your party the PDP, write another letter to the USA High Consular in Nigeria and copy the FBI, the IGP, the Nigerian branch of interpol and the Interpol HQ etc.

The above suggested letter, would go a long way to inform the mentioned international security agencies on the stance of your party and millions of Nigerians on this international fraud matter by the head of such a sensitive Nigeria security agency.

Bear in mind that the head of another Nigeria government agency, heading a sensitive security and or communications data-base, recently asked to be forgiven for once supporting a nationally and internationally confirmed terrorist organisation.

Furthermore, the suggested letter to foreign agencies could act as a new change of psychological dynamics and call to take responsibility by FG. On the part of your party, such a letter could creatively make such good governance, policy and  media matters, get more international mileage, foreign awareness and global publicity, which is one avenue that grabs the attention of the current FG administration and inspire them to embrace good governance and quality policy principles for the good of the citizenry and greater good of Nigerian democracy.

In conclusion, the PDP Demand for Full Investigation on the “Abba Kyria Gate”, is a step in the right direction.

Though, a creative step is required here for better international impact, especially when we have a FG government that has shown it cares less about local Press Statements, but gets very worried and embarrassed when such local Press Statements are made available to global agencies, International media firms and or foreign governments.

With best wishes,

Vince Onyekwelu MSc.
